We work with clients in a number of different ways and we’ll help you to find the right approach for your outdoor space.

We’ll kick things off with a complimentary zoom call to learn more about you, your project goals and to introduce ourselves.
We’ll share examples of the different ways we work with clients and options that make sense for your goals.
We’re happy to share some preliminary budgeting and timing ranges to consider as well. It’s important to get a sense of these early in the planning process.

Consultation services:
Consulting services can address a wide range of needs and are flexible to your project goals, budget and timeframe. Online or on site consultations are possible. Fees are typically at hourly rates and can be estimated based on scope needed.

A scheduled visit to walk through your property together can help. We’ll find out more about your home and garden goals, share budget and planning insights, sketches and ideas, so you can plan and prioritize projects long term and feel informed as you invest in your outdoor spaces.

Design concept & Masterplanning services
Design services help you to imagine the potential of your spaces and can be left at a “Preliminary Concept” level, or developed further into an overall “Master Plan”.
Helps you to see multiple layout options and the opportunities of your property, while analyzing sun exposure, drainage, existing plantings and site features to maximize your property's potential and achieve your goals.
Allows you to see the “big picture” and then to prioritize and phase improvements over time, tackling at your own pace.
You may choose to implement on your own, or to consult with us along the way, as needed.
Includes Preliminary Concept Designs (Example below) and Master Plan Designs and Submissions for Approvals, variances, budgeting.
Fees typically start in a $3-8K range for townhouse and small scale garden concepts, with pricing scaled to property size, location and scope desired. Additional help with project management and during construction are hourly, if needed.
COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN SERVICES:
Our involvement early in the design and planning process helps ensure a comprehensive, efficient approach to planning your outdoor spaces. Here, we’re helping you from start to finish, during the design planning and budgeting phases, to preparing technical documents and project management during installation. Many of our clients who engage us for these services are also undertaking other home and property updates and renovations, or may be building a new home.
DESIGN: During this phase we help reimagine your outdoor spaces and guide you from initial concept ideas through selecting materials and plantings for finished spaces. Some projects may also require approvals from local planning agencies or boards.
BIDDING & TECHNICAL DRAWINGS: Understanding installation pricing and budgeting goals early in the design and planning process is vital and guides design choices. Plans can be refined to reflect these objectives. Later, we develop comprehensive drawings describing your project in detail, so that prospective contractors can provide accurate final estimates and a smooth construction process.
CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT & MANAGEMENT: During construction, we serve as your advocate to maintain design integrity, resolve field challenges, and keep your project on schedule through regular oversight and management. We want your investment to last and grow with you and your family. We connect you with capable maintenance teams who can provide ongoing care for your gardens and outdoor spaces.
