GLORIA STEINEM'S GARDEN
GLORIA STEINEM’S GARDEN

During townhouse renovations, Gloria Steinem & her foundation turned their attention to the shady garden tucked just behind it. Liz’s team helped reimagine this secluded outdoor space, transforming it into a lush and serene oasis—designed for both quiet moments and lively foundation gatherings. The space centers on a stunning bronze sculpture by Deborah Bell, nestled between a cherished Cherokee Chief Dogwood and Japanese Maple tree. Special care was taken to incorporate Gloria’s mementos from a lifetime of travels, making the garden feel like a natural extension of the home and a true reflection of her warmth and spirit. The garden was featured in the January 2025 issue of Architectural Digest.
