Liz will personalize recommendations for you and your property during your 1 hour Consultation together. Meeting includes preparations with you in advance and a summary of recommendations will be shared with you afterward.
TO START, her team will ask a series of questions to better understand your landscape needs and goals. They’ll suggest how to get the most out of your session with Liz, and request some initial site information from you. Prior to your scheduled meeting (Zoom or in-person), Liz will review and distill the information.
DURING the meeting, Liz can advise on:
The design and planning process, including a brief site analysis based on the information you shared
Design concepts or images that align with your site, architecture and personal style
Realistic budgeting ranges for design and installation
Priorities, with design, budget and timing in mind, so you can take action and mark progress
Landscape questions: materials for paving, walls and fencing, furniture, planters, and planting concepts
Plant selection tips for a particular area tailored to your site conditions and maintenance level
Resources and trusted design consultants, contractors and maintenance professionals
FOLLOWING your meeting, Liz and her team will provide a summary, including any hand sketches, recommendations and next steps.

After you sign up/purchase this consultation, a member of Liz's team will reach out to schedule your consultation and gather information about your property, project goals, and space. Please have photos ready, plus any available plans or surveys.
Who is Liz?
Liz Pulver specializes in creating thoughtful, site-responsive outdoor spaces that honor each property's unique character. Growing up in the beautiful Hudson River Valley, she was shaped by wide open, natural vistas, and days spent playing outdoors. Her design philosophy centers on reading the landscape and listening to what it reveals. She creates cohesive spaces where the house and garden work in harmony, drawing people out into nature.
Based in Brooklyn, Liz brings both creativity and practicality to her work. She's known for her ability to customize each project to the site and client's goals, designing comfortable, inviting outdoor spaces that flow naturally with the property and environment. Whether working on country estates or urban rooftop gardens, she approaches every project with the same attentiveness, collaborating closely with clients and design teams to create beautiful spaces people want to spend time in.
Liz has been guiding residential clients through the journey of design, planning, budgeting, construction and planting for over 25 years. She's licensed in New York State, Connecticut and California and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). She's been recognized in Architectural Digest Magazine, Luxe Magazine and others.
